These terms govern the use of preveTEx, provided by preveTEx (company registration number 1042.951.918). By using preveTEx, your organization accepts these terms.
1. The service
preveTEx is an online application that helps organizations manage their occupational well-being and prevention records (risk analyses, inspections, training courses, occupational accidents, health surveillance, and related registers). preveTEx is a tool: it supports the organization in meeting its legal obligations but does not assume those obligations. The organization and its prevention advisor remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data and for compliance with applicable law.
Where preveTEx uses AI (for example, to propose a risk analysis or summarize a document), the AI is assistive: it makes a proposal that a person reviews, adjusts, and confirms. Responsibility for the final content remains with the organization.
2. Access and accounts
- The organization is responsible for managing its users and keeping login details confidential.
- You may use preveTEx only for lawful purposes and must not enter data without a valid legal basis.
- preveTEx is under active development. Features may change or be added; material changes will be announced in advance.
3. Personal data and data processing agreement
For personal data entered into preveTEx by the organization, preveTEx acts as processor and the organization as controller. These arrangements are set out in a separate data processing agreement, which forms an integral part of these terms. See also the privacy statement.
4. Intellectual property
The software, design, and content supplied by preveTEx remain the property of preveTEx. Data entered by the organization remains the organization’s property.
5. Liability
preveTEx uses reasonable efforts to provide the service carefully and keep it available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. preveTEx is not liable for indirect loss or for decisions the organization makes based on data in the application. Mandatory statutory liability, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, remains unaffected.
6. Termination
The organization may stop using preveTEx. After termination, the organization may request its data within a reasonable period; the data will then be deleted, except where a statutory retention obligation applies.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent Belgian courts.
8. Changes
preveTEx may amend these terms. We will notify the organization of material changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
